who we are

VISION

We are a family being transformed and sent to bring Good News and belonging to the world around us.

VALUES

Family: We are children of God who care for each other and live together as family.

Missionaries: We are being sent by the Holy Spirit to restore all things to God through Jesus Christ.

Servants: We are servants of Jesus who serve Him by serving others.

Disciples: We are being transformed and renewed by the gospel of Jesus Christ in every area of life.

We all belong to people groups.

Several of them, in fact. God directs our lives and puts us in different people groups and places. That might mean someone is a teacher and a mom or a dad, a college student and a member of the band, or a scientist and a Little League coach.

That puts all believers in unique places around unique people. And we are called to use our passions to live missionally within our community. Our mission as a church is to equip every believer to do exactly that within their sphere of influence—in their neighborhood, at work, or in their social circles.

How can we use our passions to reach people who are passionate about the same things? Whether someone paints, plays music, smokes meat, or scrapbooks, we want to build a church that can answer that question as often as possible. We want to help make every relationship one that’s built around the gospel and points lost people to their Creator and Savior.

messengers.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:17-20

This is the Gospel, the purpose of our existence: To glorify God and make him known. He’s given us the message of reconciliation. His death and resurrection wiped clean our sin-stained souls in the eyes of the Creator. We are commanded to spread that message and to be His messengers. This is the core of our church.
